Beta terms · plain language

The beta, in plain words

By signing up and using a beta key you agree to these terms. The program's End User License Agreement applies too; where they differ for the beta, these terms win.

  1. It's a beta. The MultiTool is still being finished. It may have bugs, and features may change. It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. Don't rely on it as your only tool on safety-critical work.
  2. Only networks you're allowed to use. You're responsible for having permission to connect to and scan any network you use the MultiTool on, and for following the site's rules and IT policies.
  3. Your beta key. It's free, for you only, works on one PC, and ends after 60 days (or when the beta ends, if sooner). Please don't share it.
  4. Your feedback. You let JustPeachy use your feedback, ideas and bug reports to improve the product, with no payment or obligation either way. We won't publish your name, company or comments without asking you first.
  5. Keep it between us, please. Please don't publish reviews, videos or screenshots of the beta before launch without checking with us. Talking to your coworkers about it is fine.
  6. Your data. The program doesn't send your scan results or network data anywhere. Your sign-up and feedback emails are used only to run the beta and are deleted on request - see the privacy page.
  7. The launch thank-you. Testers who send both check-ins get a free full license when the MultiTool launches. It has no cash value and can't be transferred.
  8. Either of us can stop. You can leave the beta any time; we can end your beta key or the beta itself any time, for example if a key is shared.
  9. Liability. As far as the law allows, JustPeachy isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the beta, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for it (nothing).
